Andrea Palladio (1508 - 1580) was an Italian architect of the Renaissance in the Republic of Venice. Palladio, influenced Greek and Roman architecture, is considered the most influentialin the history of Western architecture. All of his buildings are located in northern Italy, the most importantare locateda few minutes away from Asolo. Tourists come from all over the world to visit these architectural masterpieces of the Unesco heritage.
Near Asolo,within a few minutes drive away, two of the most important masterpieces Palladian Villa Barbaroat Maser and Villa Emo in Fanzolo of Vedelago.
In only an hour's drive, you can visit Vicenza Villa Valmaranato Nani, Villa La Rotonda and the Teatro Olimpico.
