ALBERGO AL SOLE hosted the troup of MESTIERE CINEMA for the realization of the movie "I DREAMED OF AFRICA" directed by Hugh Hudson inspirated by the autobiographic novel by Kuki Gallman.
Many actors were guests at the hotel: Vincent Perez, Kim Basinger, Liam Aiken, Daniel Craig.

ALBERGO AL SOLE hosted the troup of Cattleya during the realization of the movie "THE RIPLEY'S GAME" directed by Liliana Cvani.
The terrace of the Hotel was chosen as location for some scenes with the movie star John Malkovich.
The movie, from the novel by Patricia Highsmith, was played by other famous actors who stayed at the Hotel: Dougray Scott, Chiara Caselli, Sam Blitz.
